18-Rx. Breakdown: 4, 4, 3, 3, 4. I had to take it a little slower on the cleans today because my back has been giving me some grief lately but I felt good getting through this one. It’s 1 less than I had last time we did this (October ’11) but I’m cool with that. Nice work by everyone this morning!

    Get at it TLC!

  • The view from the back of the pack, this wod is tough. There were some really good scores, mine was not one of them. Only full rounds count, so don’t start a round unless you are going to be able to finish it. In the beginning that means you get a few seconds extra rest, but during the later rounds that means you are squatting as fast as you can to make sure it counts and all that effort wasn’t wasted. Push ups were my weak spot as the clean weight wasn’t bad for me.

26 rds -(6-5-5-5-5) Rx’d: I did this one in Tampa about a month ago and I was hoping to beat my score of 6-6-5-6-5. Unfortunately I was still sore from a WOD on Saturday (I did the Regional Games Wod posted Friday, May 11) My back is aching from the 21-225# DL and I’m silly to have put myself through more torture today. Oh well, I guess that’s the price you pay when you’re addicted to Crossfit ;). Go get some Team PM..

  • 5-5-5-4-5 = 24 RX: Only possible round I may have been able to squeeze in another round may have been the first 3 minutes. I finished at 2:30 or so and may have been able to get a 6th round in, but I think it would have cost me a round on my next 3 minutes. First time I have done “The Chief.” First couple 3 minute rounds I did my best not to drop the bar at all while recycling the clean which saved me some time.
