13:41 for me tonight. Because of my thumb I swapped out double understand with jump squats. I also ended up doing a back squat instead of an OH squat for the same reason, but only ended up with 275. Onwards & upwards! Great job tonight everyone, I'm always impressed with what everyone is capable of at CFO!

I'd love to take part in this but with my thumb the way it is, & still getting used to this kind of workload for a workout, I'm gonna have to pass. HOWEVER...I will definitely be cheering everyone on & doing whatever I can to help CFO crush it!!

Sorry I missed out in doing this wod with you all. I did it at home and PR with 7:01, that's 32 secs faster then back in Sept. I've could have been faster but I was having technical difficulties with my mat. :)
I am excited to see the shirts. I'm definitely down for 2.

Thanks Tim for mentioning the shirts. Two styles you can purchase. One is an American Apparel Shirt (which comes in women's sizes), more for use outside the box. The other is an Under Armour shirt that is not compression type but is fitted and this is Uni. It comes in XS as well. They both will have the same prints on them. "CrossFit Orlando" on the front chest, "CFO" on the left sleeve and "Fight to 0:00" across the back. The pricing is on the sign up sheet. I brought in a sample of Men's medium American apparel shirt, it is by the table. These shirts are cut with a slight slim fit as well both men's and women's sizes. We really need to get ea quantity up to about 15 to place an order. It's a quick turn around so I would love to place the order by early next week. There is a description of the UA shirt attached to the sign up sheet.

Hey Orlando CrossFitters,

Did you know that CrossFit Orlando has a team preparing for the Reebok CrossFit Games? We are competing against other CrossFit teams from around the world. TeamCFO is open to anyone who enjoys the camaraderie and the thrill of team competition. Some athletes on our team have a chance of doing well in the CrossFit Games. Others, like me, enjoy competing and cheering on my friends even if I don't stand a chance of winning.

It is not too late to join TeamCFO. All you have to do is go on line to games.crossfit.com and click on the register link. Once you have registered, you will be asked to indicate your affiliate (CrossFit Orlando) and your team, which is TeamCFO.

The Games start February 22 and last five weeks. We will try to do the games workouts as a team on Thursdays. Then we will do the same work out again on Saturdays to try to improve our scores, so save those days on your calendar. We will pin down the scheduling once we know who all is on TeamCFO.

Lou has put together some sweet team shirts. The sign-up sheet for the shirts is on the table at CFO. Jeremy came up with our very cool motto - “Fight to 0:00!” which will be on the shirt. If you have any questions, see Lori or me.

First off, I love the rowing picture for today.

As for Annie, 7:29, RX. 165# OHS.

That's a PR on Annie. Apparently I missed it the last two times we did it, so my previous score was 15:49 RX, back in October of 2010. Crossfit does amazing things, that's for sure.

Great class today. It was fun to do the OHS after the WoD, even if we felt a little gassed. And everything you said Matt about attempting yesterday's WoD. Just showing up takes a lot of stones. Really impressive scores all around on that one.

This was a beast! I have a bum shoulder so only did 115 DL(should have done more) & 85 Clean, Blue Band pull-up Finished 5 rounds either 39 0r 40 minutes. Starting round 2 I thought there would be no way to do all 5 rounds. Hands were shot by the end

Jeff RX is 50:03 nasty to say the least.

8:48 - Rx. 195# OHS (PR)! I was stoked on the OHS PR. It felt good. Get that weight over your head and lock it in place. Get tight throughout your entire body and keep tight through the entire movement. When I'm about to put the weight overhead, I consciously tighten my abs, butt, legs, everything. Get tight baby! My Annie time is 20 seconds slower than last time we did it (9/2/11) but it still felt good. I got tripped up on my DU's in the 40 round. It was one of those times where you keep trying to go fast after missing only to trip yourself up again. So I ended up having 4 stops in that one round. I think that's where I lost my time. I'm not complaining though. Mad props to JeremyB for blowing through that thing, especially the situps unbroken.

I loved reading the posts from yesterday as well. Matt is absolutely right, we're all just working at OUR intensity and making it happen, regardless of what the WOD is. It doesn't matter where you are...what matters is that you're giving everything you have. If you're doing that, you'll continue to move forward. Let's see what you've got TLC!

13:42 RX / 155 #OHS PR: Well a few weeks ago it took me nearly 8 minutes to get 50 DU's at the end of Filthy Fifty. That put me in a pretty sour mood so I've been working on them outside the box and have made some progress. The max DU's in 2 minutes we have been doing have helped out as well. Like Matt said, it's progress...I got through the sit ups un broken so if I could just get the hang of those DU's I might have a fighting chance. Props to everyone this AM, OHS looked really solid all-around and having Tony next to me during the WOD really kept me going on the DU's. Gabe and Jeremy put on a show, nice work Team AM!

This morning was a frustrating day at the gym for me. I don't have double unders and ended up switching jump ropes twice trying to get through all the single unders. On over head squats I was having trouble keeping the weight steady over head. I felt limited by my inability to control the weight as opposed to lack of strength in standing it up and ended up 20# under my prior PR.

155# OHS ... that is strong! Matt, you have set the bar high (and heavy). Tommy and I are looking forward to the challenge with TLC. I'm not even thinking of trying to hang with you on the DUs.

10:13 Rx. 155 OHS (PR). Those DUs are finally popping and I'm feeling that "flick, flick" in the wrists instead of thinking so much about my feet. I almost kept pace with the "DU Pro Team" over to the right this am, but I got smoked on the situps by Gabe and Jeremy. I hear Jeremy went unbroken on the SU, which is just unheard of. Props to everyone this am . . . what a great way to start the day!

Just read yesterday's posts. In all seriousness, anyone who attempted yesterday (regardless of scaling) is to be congratulated on standing up to a Goliath. Tony thanks for the cool blog on your experiences; I love it when CFO peps do that. All of us are just putting one foot in front of the other, making progress day by day.

Thx, Danny & John. Here is a great video on Desforges: http://media.crossfit.com/cf-video/CrossFit_WOD120128_Desforges.mov.

I'm sure the guy in the video kicks some tail but those clean & jerks would definitely be a no rep at CFO tonight! He's not squatting on the clean and he also did not drop down on the jerk. Still, a great 3 minute video!

Great workout. 29:00+, 3 rounds. 155lbs DL and 55lb clean and jerk, blue band on PU. I'm honestly not feeling too great about the results but just have to keep head up and work on deficiencies. We had to cut off WOD at 30:00 because we were starting to encroach into the 7:30 class. Props to Jeff S for finishing the 5 rounds (and I believe RX). He may have encroached into the 6:30 class but that was not stopping him from finishing this beast.

On the C&J, I felt like I could have used more weight on the clean but needed less weight on the jerk due to form issues. My jerk needs a ton of work (that didn't really come out right!). I went into the box super pumped thinking I was going to "kill this thing" then I realized during the warm up that my jerks need a ton of work which deflated me a bit.

On the PU's, I have got to figure out how to kip!!! I feel like I'm close but am missing one crucial piece to put it all together. Very frustrating. Similar to the Filthy Fifty, knees to elbows proved to be very difficult. Now that I just re-read my blog post I realized that I pretty much need to work on everything, LOL!
